There’s something so magical about summer weddings at Ravenswood Mansion in Nashville. The warm golden light, the timeless Southern charm, and the way the historic grounds come alive with color. Liam and Laura’s wedding day was the perfect example of all of that and more. Every detail was so thoughtfully planned and full of personality, from the vibrant floral arrangements to the joyful energy that carried through the entire day.
As a photographer, I’m always drawn to weddings that reflect the couple’s story, and Liam and Laura’s did exactly that. From the moment I arrived, I could feel how much intention and love went into every part of their day. The colorful summer blooms perfectly complemented the soft tones of the mansion, creating an elegant yet fun atmosphere that felt so true to them.
But the absolute highlight for me? Their adorable dog, Waffles, made a special appearance for the first look! I think everyone melted a little seeing the three of them together. Including your pet in your wedding photos is such a beautiful way to make your day even more personal, and Waffles absolutely stole the show.
Throughout the day, we explored the mansion’s gorgeous grounds capturing sweet, quiet moments under the oak trees and laughter filled candids during golden hour.
