2023 was the year I really tried my best to focus on destination weddings. Don’t get me wrong, I love Nashville with all of my heart, and I will never leave. It will always be home for me now. But boy do I love to travel.

This wedding was one I was looking forward to all year. Haley told me that she was planning a wedding for December, and the goal was to be as elegant as possible. She booked the wedding venue The Room on Main in downtown Dallas. As a fellow Texan with my family still living in Dallas, I was so excited to travel home and photograph her wedding.

This wedding day could not have been more beautiful. I flew to Nebraska for the first time to photograph Courtney and Logan’s wedding at Arbor Day Farm. I was blown away with all of the rich color that Nebraska had to offer. So many tones of yellow, red and green, and don’t even get me started on the sunsets. WOW!

I had the privelege of photographing Logan proposing to Courtney in Nashville. Logan had a sweet proposal surprise for her and flew her whole family to Nashville for a surprise dinner with a private chef. When he told me over the phone all of his plans, I was so excited for Courtney! A couple months after the session, they reach out and asked if I’d be willing to photograph their wedding in Nebraska. I said OF COURSE, and booked my trip.

Seaside holds a special place in my heart. I’ve been traveling there for vacation with family and friends since I first fell in love with it back in 2012. There’s just something about being able to escape to a place where people are riding their bikes, walking to restaurants and purely enjoying the community there. It’s a safe place. It’s where you can go to escape everyday life, but also get to relax on the beach under an umbrella.

I am over the moon to blog this beautiful fall wedding because let me tell you it was one for the books. I met Justin and Nicole because they were friends with another couple that I had recently booked their wedding. Justin told me after they saw their engagement photos, they knew they had to reach out to see if I was available.

This intimate September wedding in the heart of Nashville was one of the most beautiful wedding days of the season. When I did my first call with Sutherland, I was so excited to meet someone that had my maiden name as her first name. We talked for over an hour about how there were so […]

Stephanie and Doug tied the knot at The Barn at Cranford Hollow. The bride is a beer aficionado whose whole career revolves around beer tastings. Stephanie wanted her guests to have a unique experience that not every wedding would have. When she told me her plan for the reception, I could not wait to photograph […]

There are so many things that make me excited about photographing a wedding day. One of my favorite things to do is to find out what my couples will look forward to the most in their gallery. I am all about my galleries telling a story from start to finish, and the best way I can do that is to really get to know what makes them happy. This couple was a special one.
