DALLAS PRIVATE ESTATE WEDDING | Scott & Reuben

There are so many things that make me excited about photographing a wedding day. One of my favorite things to do is to find out what my couples will look forward to the most in their gallery. I am all about my galleries telling a story from start to finish, and the best way I can do that is to really get to know what makes them happy. This couple was a special one.

This Dallas estate was absolutely stunning. When I pulled up to the house at the beginning of the day, my jaw dropped to the floor. Everywhere I turned there was either beautiful architecture or stunning chandeliers. I love rich tones of color so one of my favorite photos in this gallery, I used an authentic 1700s chair from France to take photos of one of the bouquets. If you’ve read anything on my destination page, you’ll know that I’m a sucker for anything that has to do with art or architecture. I just wanted to stay there all day and take photos.

Scott and Reuben talked to me and told me that this was an important day for them to celebrate their love and also see all of their friends in one place. Scott is a chef so all of his favorite details came together in the cocktail hour and reception side of things. He meticulously planned out many different types of appetizers and treats that he knew his guests would enjoy. From caviar at cocktail hour to three different types of wood fired pizza, he thought of it all.
